We have too many among us who reduce the Holy Bible to a culturally biased proclamation of “thou shall nots” listed on pages between two book covers.To be sure, God has issued edicts against acts that people are inclined to do. He despises such things because these go against that which is right and thereby is contrary to His nature. The nature of God is love. As such, to implement God’s law without an input of love is an incomplete execution of his rule.

I read about a disturbing trend in a recent article from Decisionmagazine.com. It came from a survey done with people who identify as born again Christians. According to this article less than half of the Christians surveyed believe that Jesus lived a sinless life. Huh?

I’ll be blunt. If Jesus didn’t live a sinless life and for that matter if he couldn’t live a sinless life than all our church going, good deeds, prayers, and everything else we think will take us to heaven is pointless.
